Steps or activities aren't tracking
Steps aren't updating
- Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Stridu on your iPhone and make sure Stridu is allowed to read steps and workouts.
- Steps come from the iPhone's motion sensor via Apple Health, so carry the phone with you — a walk with the phone left on a desk isn't counted.
- Pull to refresh the dashboard; the daily total is recalculated on the device.
My route is missing or the distance looks wrong
- Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Stridu and allow location access. Precise location must be on for an accurate route.
- GPS needs sky. Indoors, in tunnels, or between tall buildings the trace drifts and distance can read short.
- Location is recorded only while an activity is running. Stopping the activity stops the recording.
The app closed in the middle of an activity
Reopen Stridu. An interrupted activity is recovered from the device rather than discarded, and you can finish or save it.
Sync and offline
- An account is required for first use. After sign-in the App keeps tracking without a connection.
- Anything recorded offline is queued and sent when the connection comes back — leave the App open for a moment on reconnect.
- If a record looks out of date on a second device, check that both devices are signed in to the same account and have synced at least once.
Export your data
Open Profile › Export my data. Stridu builds a single JSON file named
stridu-data-YYYY-MM-DD.json containing your synced account data and the
local-first data on that device: profile, daily steps, activities and route points, gear,
badges, training plans, saved routes, coach messages, and anything still queued for sync.
Credentials, tokens, and other people's private data are never included. If the export fails part-way, nothing partial is saved — retry, it's read-only and safe to repeat.
Delete your account
Open Profile, choose to delete your account, re-authenticate, and confirm. For security, deletion requires a recent sign-in — if you've been signed in for a while you'll be asked to authenticate again.
- Your account and its cloud data are deleted.
- You choose separately whether the activity history on your device is kept or erased. Retained local history becomes accessible only after you sign in again.
- Recovery backups of the database expire on their own schedule and are not accessible to users. See the privacy policy for retention detail.
Report content, or block someone
In the feed, use the report action on a post or account and pick a reason — spam, harassment, hate, sexual content, violence, or other. You can also block an account, which hides it from your feed and from the weekly leaderboard, and unblock it later from the safety screen in the App.
Reports are recorded and reviewed by a human; the App itself cannot close or dismiss a report. For anything urgent, or if you believe a report was handled incorrectly, email privacy@stridu.com with the post or account and the approximate time.
If a post of yours was rejected before publishing, it hit an automated safety filter. Email us with the text and the time and a human will look at it.
Report a bug
Email privacy@stridu.com and include:
- iPhone model and iOS version
- Stridu version (Profile › about/settings)
- What you did, what you expected, what happened instead
- Roughly when it happened, and a screenshot if you have one
Legal
- Privacy policy — what is collected, where it's stored, and your KVKK/GDPR rights.
- Terms of use — account and content rules, and what Stridu is not.
Stridu supports step and activity tracking. It is not a medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service — for health questions, talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
